Just got to notifications and turn off Extreme Alerts and Sever Alerts
And then in the very unlikely event Russia is chucking over some nuclear warheads you can get wiped out without realising rather then spend a few days in your basements watching your skin melt off slowly before suffering a painful death.

If it has no point, why was it paid for?
As it was paid for, how much did it cost and why was that prioritised over far more important things?
If you have no answers to this then it clearly is valuable to the powers that be. Why?

I live in an area where on a number of occasions I have received a telephone call regarding flood warning, can’t see any difference with this one .
